Roadwork Summer 2025

Work will start on 8 July 2025.

UPDATE: The asphalt overlay has been delayed due to weather. It is estimated that the work will be completed in mid-August assuming weather cooperates.

What You Need to Know:

The roadwork will be located from the west side of Sterling Court and Buccaneer Boulevard intersection and proceed eastward along Buccaneer Boulevard to approximately 3814/3813 Buccaneer Blvd to the storm water inlets.

Phase 1 – Curb removal and replacement (5 – 7 days)

The curb work area has been marked, and door hangers will be delivered to affected residents. During construction, residents will need to park on the street until the concrete cures/hardens, as crossing newly poured curbs will not be possible.

Important: Do not drive on the concrete until the contractor removes the construction tape. The concrete requires several days to properly cure and harden.

Phase 2 – Asphalt Overlay (1 to 2 days)

We will be removing the existing top layer of asphalt and applying a new asphalt overlay. Expect brief, intermittent closures of Buccaneer Boulevard or the Sterling Court entrance, though the contractor will maintain traffic flow whenever possible.
